What is the #1 Veteran Injury? Hearing Loss – and Tinnitus

Ross MeglatheryKelley
Hearing Loss is the #1 Veteran Injury.  Across ALL eras

Ross Meglathery is a combat USMC veteran and advocate at VetFirst with significant experience in Hill testimony, consulting, and leadership assistance advocating for those with disabilities, including hearing loss.  While the majority of veterans have some form of hearing impairment, few know the parameters on benefits and life impact.  Ross knows both.

Kelley is the Executive Director of the Hearing Loss Association of America — and an Army spouse.  Both professionally and personally, she speaks, writes, and presents to groups for greater awareness, prevention of hearing loss, treatment options, and support. Tinnitus and hearing impairment present unique challenges, but have growing positive resolutions as technology and ergonomics enhance veteran options.
