Epilepsy Centers of Excellence Discussion About Seizure Disorders
|Allan Krumholz, M.D. is a neurologist and Director of VA Maryland Health Care System’s, Epilepsy Center of Excellence. New research and treatment discoveries are routinely driving best practices at the VA Epilepsy Centers of Excellence (ECoC) for veterans suffering from brain injury and seizure disorders. Important education and family inclusion about the brain’s condition and effects on social functions, including employment and driving are vitally important to quality of life.
Regina McGuire, Nurse Practitioner, shares the integrated care and support provided to the families and caregivers and veteran Brian Farkas also joins our program, sharing his personal story and improved health outcomes.
