Mitigating Risks for Military Teens & Their Families

Military Network Radio with Linda Kreter and Co-host Jason McNamara presents:

Mitigating Risks for Military Teens & Their Families

Judy Davis and Sandy Fowler, are devoted to supporting families searching for support and answers with teen depression, addiction, and suicide prevention. With Judy’s son, Geoffrey, they form the organization, Dasium, speaking and coaching families to recognize, understand, and manage these tough issues. Judy is a military spouse and author, blogger, and speaker, while Sandy Fowler is a personal coach, entrepreneur, and mom.

Teens in the military space have a particularly challenging time, with relocation, frequent changes, and military hierarchy for their parents, additional stressors add to the equation of youth, ever-present social media, and stress. Too many lives are derailed – and there is help.

Judy and Sandy address these issues directly and share how parents can be proactively aware, with greater knowledge, awareness, and resources.  The world may move fast and publicly today, but the teen years have always been a time of testing, trial and error, here’s help to recognize and regroup for better outcomes.
